Traditionally trained in oils it tends to be my first medium of choice, however I believe in order to grow and challenge yourself you must try new things; continue to remain open for learning and experimenting in new styles and mediums. I would describe myself as a contemporary artist using a variety of mediums to get to a desired outcome.
Occasionally I get the opportunity of painting a portrait and my style is quite different from my contemporary pieces. My portraits are more realistic with a slight impressionistic edge.
Many things inspire me and my camera accompanies me wherever I go as an aid in capturing my ideas, thoughts and inspirations. These concepts are taken back to my studio for further exploration and development.
